SELECTMEN’S MEETING MINUTES

PRESENT: Ed LeBlanc, Keith Harris, Jim Trask, Chris L’Heureux,

ABSENT: None

OTHERS PRESENT: Jim Roberts, Ted Poirier, Mike Souliere,

Selectman Keith Harris declared the meeting open at 19:00

~ANNOUNCEMENTS: NONE

~APPOINTMENTS: NONE

OLD BUSINESS:

1. Workshop on Palesky Plan with the School Committee was held. See workshop notes.

2. Skip Cushman stated that the portable is almost done, they still have some things on a punch list that needs to be taken care of till they are finished getting paid. Skip stated that the Gerard Plumbing still needs to install 1 more water fountain per agreement. Skip stated that they will not be paid in full till done.

3. Ed stated to Skip that he has heard some complaints from teachers that they did not have any keys to the portable yet. Skip stated that this was taken care of last week and Connie should have the keys and teachers are able to get them now.

4. Mike Souliere stated that they do not need to put a hole in the fence at the dump for the sand and salt box, it will work without it, he also stated that the light still needs to be fix at the new Salt Building, Ed stated that he will get that done.

5. Mike stated that he has the culverts now to do the Hollis Road he will get them done before winter and have them patched and he believes it will be best to wait to spring till grind and repave. Selectmen agreed.

6. Ed spoke to Jim Trask re a GA case, Jim stated that he has the recent cases taken care of and they should be seeking assistance elsewhere.

~NEW BUSINESS:

1. Ed spoke about the 23 extra hours from the Assessor Wilma Harris for the preparation of this years tax bills. Motion by Jim Trask 2nd by Keith Harris not to pay for the extra time due to the fact that she already gets paid extra for Wednesday hours and this could be done during this time, and it is also part of the Assessors job.
