Dayton Planning Board

March 17, 2009

Members Present: Dick Hall (Chair) Gary Cobleigh, Dan Plourde, Valerie Cole (Alt.)

Others Present: Jim Roberts (CEO), Tom McKinney, John Gay

Administrative:

The Planning Board meeting began at 7:10 PM.

Minutes from February 17, 2009 were read and approved. Gary Cobleigh motioned, Dan Plourde seconded, all voted in favor.

Old Business:

DAYCARES:  Jim Roberts indicated that two daycares, one owned by Julie Lennox and one by Shannan LaBreque, have not submitted copies of their current insurance policies. The secretary was directed to mail requests for the copies.

New Business:

MMA WORKSHOP: Dick Hall went to a Maine Municipal Association workshop on March 12^th and handed around a folder of the presented materials for the Board members to look through.

WATER EXTRACTION: Jim reported that if the Board wishes, someone will come to talk about water extraction. He wasn't sure if the presentation would be to the Planning Board only or if they would address residents in an open forum. He offered to get more information.

The meeting adjourned at 7:25 PM. The next meeting will be April 7, 2009.
