Administrative:

The May 17, 2011 regular meeting minutes and the Ahern site walk minutes from May 24, 2011 were read and approved.

Old Business:

RICK AHERN, SAND PIT NEAR CC ROAD: Members signed the mylar site plan provided by Mr. Frick, detailing the approved sand pit off CC Road. Also submitted were a cover letter, updated closure plan, and a copy of an email submitted to Mr. Mark Stebbins of Maine DEP.

Dick Hall asked Jim Roberts about the debris and old sand pits near the entrance of CC Road. Jim Roberts explained that they had been there for several years, and that the Forestry Service had been doing some work there recently as well. Dick Hall wondered if there was a need to require a permit for the storage. The area is in the Farm zone. It was suggested that if this seems to increase in activity, it may need to be revisited.

New Business: None discussed.

The meeting adjourned at 7:22 PM. The June 21, 2011 meeting is canceled. The next meeting will be on Tuesday, July 5, 2011.
