New Business:
TAMMY AND BRYAN CARPENTER, TAKE-OUT BUSINESS:
Tammy and Bryan Carpenter applied to the Board for a Conditional Use Permit for a food take-out business at 934 New County Road. The Carpenters plan to be open from 6:00 AM until 10:00 PM during the weekends, with shorter hours during the week days. All food will be take-out and will include pizza, sandwiches, subs, salads and soups, and breakfast items. Currently there are no plans for seating; the Carpenters would come before the Board again if they plan to install seating. They have no plans to carry alcohol or convenience items like milk or bread. They are in the process of setting up their business as an LLC and then will apply to the state for the necessary permits.
The Carpenters asked about signage and were given a copy of the ordinance regarding signs. They were advised to contact CEO Jim Roberts with any questions and for clarification.
Dan Plourde motioned to grant the Conditional Use Permit with the following conditions:
1. Copies of all state licenses / permits shall be submitted to the Planning Board to be kept on file.
2. A copy of the Liability Insurance policy shall be submitted annually to the Planning Board to be kept on file.
Pat Sughrue seconded the motion and all voted in favor.
Next Meeting: There are no items on the agenda for July 19th. The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 2, 2011, at 7:00 PM.
