New Business:

LAURA MCKNIGHT, CUP APPLICATION FOR SEASONAL GIFT SHOP:

Mrs. McKnight passed out information to support her application for a seasonal gift shop at 1020 New County Road.

 

She has room for a turn-around as well as off street parking. She also indicated that there are two trees that could be cut down if needed to facilitate parking. The shop will be in her remodeled shed. She does not yet have a sign, but will be installing one. She plans to be open May through the third week of December. The hours will be Tuesdays through Fridays 11-5 and Saturdays 9-4.

 

Jim Roberts indicated he has no concerns. The Board members had no concerns regarding hours and felt no need to restrict hours or place any conditions, other than to require that a copy of the insurance liability be filed annually with the town.

 

Rand Clark motioned to allow the Conditional Use Permit for a gift shop at 1020 New County Road with the restriction that Mrs. McKnight provides a copy of her insurance liability every year. Dan Plourde seconded. All voted in favor.

 

There are no items on the agenda for July 3. The next meeting will be July 17.
