SELECTMEN’S MEETING MINUTES                                                                                                              

February 27, 2006

PRESENT:  Ted Poirier, Jim Trask, Ed Leblanc, Chris L’Heureux,

ABSENT: None

OTHERS PRESENT: Jim Roberts, Millie Tuttle, Kristen, Mike Souliere,

Selectman Ted Poirier declared the meeting open at 19:00

 ANNOUNCEMENTS: NONE

APPOINTMENTS:  1. None.

 OLD BUSINESS:

1.      Millie Tuttle was in to update the Board on the Eleven Towns Group; she stated that the consolidation on the 911 dispatch centers is on hold while there is new legislation to look into this. Eleven Towns Group is also going to send a letter to MDOT in support of getting RT 35 repaired. They are starting to develop a program for share buying, they are getting ideas now and she will keep us posted on this.

2.      Jim Trask called PJ Tangney re our Towns Shelter and emergency plan; he will be getting the plan for the Selectmen to review.

3.      Jim Trask gave Jim Roberts the information to order the stuff on the sexual harassment training info; the cost will be $850. Jim Roberts will be ordering it.

4.      Selectmen looked over and discussed ideas on job descriptions for town positions. After some work, Ted Poirier made a motion to accept the job descriptions for Treasurer, Town Clerk and Tax Collector as worked on. Passed 3/0 copy’s attached.

 NEW BUSINESS:

1.      Ed will get a hold of Angela Cushman to have her get the Selectmen a copy of the current budget and expenditures so the Selectmen can work on their budgets. He will have this done for next Monday.
