Old Business:

JULIE LENNOX, DAYCARE: Ms. Lennox, 30 Clarks Mills Road, submitted a CUP for a daycare. She reported that she is still waiting for the Fire Marshall to do a site inspection on her home. She will apply for insurance after receiving approval from the Planning Board and will provide the Board with a copy of the insurance certificate as well as the state license. She indicated the daycare is set up, she is waiting to see if she can put up a sign and advertised. She intends to take first aid and CPR courses. She hopes to open in November. Jim Roberts advised her to install a turn-around for parking rather than using the existing horseshoe driveway. She is planning to have no more than six children, no infants, but will be licensed for up to twelve. She will not have any employees. Her home has been a daycare under a previous owner. Ms. Lennox will be on the agenda for the October 6, 2008 meeting.

RICK AHEARN, GRAVEL PIT: Jim Roberts reported that Rick Ahearn does not intend to pursue the gravel pit further but instead intends to put in an agricultural pond, which is exempt. He left $150 deposit on account with the town toward future plans.

New Business:

No new business was discussed.

The meeting adjourned at 7:35 PM. The next meeting will be held on Monday, October 6, at 7:00 PM.
