Dayton Planning Board

August 4, 2008

Members Present: Rick Shaw (Chair), Dick Hall, Remi Caron, Gary Cobleigh, Valerie Cole (Alt.)

Administrative:

Dick Hall moved to approve the minutes of July 21, 2008. Remi seconded and all voted to approve.

Old Business:

NEW TOWN HALL: No new information, revised plans have not been received. The town hall approval is on the agenda for August 18, 2008.

New Business:

JULIE LENNOX, DAYCARE: Julie Lennox of 30 Clarks Mills Road met with the Board to get information about opening a day care. The Board informed her that she would need to provide proof of approval from the Fire Department, proof of insurance, a site plan, and a copy of her state license once it is received. She indicated that she is just starting to work through the state requirements and expects the process to take three months. She was given a Conditional Use Permit application and asked to bring back the required paperwork when it is available.

The meeting adjourned at 7:15 PM. The next meeting will be held on August 18th: the agenda includes the approval of the new town hall plans. There will be no meeting on September 1st because of Labor Day. The next September meeting will be on the 15th.
