Dayton Planning Board

October 6, 2008

 

Members Present: Rick Shaw (Chair) Remi Caron, Gary Cobleigh, John Boissoneault, Valerie Cole (Alt.)

 

Others Present: Julie Lennox

 

Administrative:

Minutes from August 18, 2008 were read and approved. John Boissoneault motioned, Remi Caron seconded, all voted in favor.

Minutes from September 15, 2008 were read and approved. Gary Cobleigh motioned, Remi Caron seconded, all voted in favor.

 

Old Business:

JULIE LENNOX, DAYCARE: Julie Lennox indicated that she is still waiting for the Fire Marshal to come and inspect her property at 30 Clarks Mills Road for a proposed day care. After receiving approval from the Planning Board she will be able to apply for her State License and obtain insurance. Jim Roberts has already talked with her about a turn-around in the driveway so cars aren’t backing out onto Route 35.

 

John Boissoneault motioned to approve the Conditional Use Permit with the following conditions. Gary Cobleigh seconded, all voted in favor.

 

  1. A copy of the state license for child care shall be submitted to the Planning Board to be kept on file
  2. A copy of the liability insurance policy shall be submitted to the Planning Board to be kept on file
  3. Approval shall be obtained from the Fire Marshall, copy to be submitted to the Planning Board to be kept on file
  4. Parking recommendations as outlined by Code Enforcement Officer Jim Roberts shall be

followed

 

New Business:

No new business was discussed.

 

There is nothing on the agenda for the October 20 meeting. Remi motioned to cancel the meeting, Gary seconded, all voted in favor.  The next meeting will be November 3, 2008.

 

The meeting adjourned at 7:10 PM.
