SELECTMEN’S MEETING MINUTES
May 23, 2005
PRESENT: Ed LeBlanc, Keith Harris, Jim Trask Chris L’Heureux,
ABSENT: None
OTHERS PRESENT: Jim Roberts, Michelle Boisjoly, Ted Poirier, Paul Poirier, Mike Souliere,
Selectman Ed LeBlanc declared the meeting open at 18:30

APPOINTMENTS: None
OLD BUSINESS:
1. None
~NEW BUSINESS:
1. "I Keith Harris move that the board go into executive session AT 18:30 pursuant to 1 M.R.S.A. § 405(6)(A) to discuss the Town Assessor 3 month evaluation ." Passed 3/0, Board out of Executive Session 19:25. A good evaluation was given and a raise of 5% ($16.66) now and 8% ($17.99) increase when she gets her State certification. Next review will be at her 1 year Anniversary.
2. Michelle Boisjoly was in to discuss an error with last years Commitment paper work, It was noticed that the County Tax ($74,221.63) was figured in twice, She recommends that we contact MMA before we notify the State to see how we need to handle this. The Board agreed to this and she will contact them and keep us notified.
3. Upgrading the Trio Software in the Assessor Department was discussed, Motion by Ed LeBlanc 2nd by Keith Harris to purchase the software in June 2005 so it will be billed in the new fiscal year, and once it is installed have Trio come in and train the Assessor on the software. Passed 3/0
4. A key is needed for the people doing the data entry in the Trio Budget software, they need a key to the Tax Collector and Town Clerk’s offices, and there is only one key left in the vault. Motion by Ed LeBlanc 2nd by Jim Trask to have Keith Harris make a couple of copies and give one to the people doing the data entry and put the others in the vault.
5. A question was raised about where the fund raising and concession stand monies for the Little League goes, Jim Trask stated that since no one knew the answer he would investigate this and get back to the Board with the answers.
6. Paul Poirier and Jim Trask made a presentation about putting up sponsor signs on the ball field fence, The Selectmen said that they were ok with this but the money should be going to the Town, Jim Trask stated that Paul Poirier will be giving a presentation to the Tri Town Little League, and they will get back to us on the monies aspect.
7. Ed LeBlanc called Dwight Andersen and asked him to hold a Road Committee meeting within the next week to make finial discussions on what to do with what roads. They need to report back to the Selectmen on June 6, 2005.
8. No Selectmen’s Meeting May 30, 2005 due to Memorial Day, The Town Office will also be closed.
