SELECTMEN’S MEETING MINUTES
JUNE 27, 2005
PRESENT: Ed LeBlanc, Ted Poirier, Chris L’Heureux,
ABSENT: Jim Trask
OTHERS PRESENT: Jim Roberts, Angela Cushman, Angela Harris, Evans McLaughlin,
Selectman Ted Poirier declared the meeting open at 19:00
~ANNOUNCEMENTS: NONE
APPOINTMENTS: 1. None.
OLD BUSINESS:
1. Evans McLaughlin was in to set up a date with the Selectmen to pay his taxes up to date and to get a Quick Claim Deed. Ted Poirier told him to get all the information needed and a check and to call them to set up an appointment and they will get it done and Notarized by the Town Clerk.
2. Angela Cushman & Angela Harris were in to go over the line item budgets for the new budget software. They will be ready to start using it on July 1, 2005. Line items were discussed at length; they will be doing the Bi- Weekly Warrant thru the computer now with the new deadline on the Thursday before the Warrant date. They will be in on July 11, 2005 to present the 1st Warrant on the new system.
3. Ed got a confirmation that Paul Poirier has paid the balance of the salt bill to International Salt, and the GPCOG invoice.
~NEW BUSINESS:
1. Paul Poirier was requesting July’s payment for the Snow Plow Contract to be paid this week for July 1, 2005. Selectmen discussed this and said that the payment is scheduled for the 1st Warrant in July and that is when the money will be disbursed.
2. Jim Roberts stated that he is still working on the research for updating Ordinances. He will continue getting data and get it to the Selectmen when he has more information.
3. Kathy Sawtel called re an abatement form, Ed Leblanc spoke to her and told her she needs to come in and see the Assessor for that during her hours.
