SELECTMEN’S MEETING MINUTES

PRESENT: Ed LeBlanc, Keith Harris, Jim Trask, Chris L’Heureux,

ABSENT: None

OTHERS PRESENT: Jim Roberts, M, Souliere, T. Poirier, Andy Cole

Selectman Ed LeBlanc declared the meeting open at 19:00

OLD BUSINESS:

1. Culverts on the Hollis Road, Mark Moores says that the one by the Mullen residence needs to be replaced, Mike Souilier is meeting Thursday 7am with the Road Committee to go over culvert conditions etc on the Hollis Road and a plan for the road. He will keep us posted on the progress.

2. School Building is all put together, now it just needs to be finished and the subs need to get in and do there work. Will be close but should be done by the start of school.

3. Town Garage Motion by Ed LeBlanc 2nd by Keith Harris to set a minimum bid of $7,500. Passed 3/0. A Seal Bid will be held with a closing date of September, 16, 2004 at 9pm and opened September 20, 2004 at 7:30 pm. Chris to call Maxine to find out how long it needs to be posted and where. Then it will be posted ASAP

4. Got another notice from the Salt Company that the bill for last years salt hasn’t been paid, Ed called and spoke to Paul and he states payment was sent out this week. Jim Roberts is to call the Salt Company on Wednesday and make sure payment is received.

~NEW BUSINESS:

1. Andy Townsend is going to do the Road side mowing for this year, His price was $2,300. Motioned by Keith Harris 2nd by Jim Trask. Passed 3/0, Keith stated he will start this week.

2. Motion by Keith Harris 2nd by Ed LeBlanc to pay all the bills that come in for the new school portable out of the Schools Capitol Fund the town has and send a bill bi weekly to the School Board for reimbursement to that account. Passed 3/0

1. Next Ten Town group meeting will be August 16th at 7pm at the Waterboro Town Hall.
