Dayton Planning Board

Meeting Time:

The Planning Board meets on Tuesdays at 6:30 P.M at Dayton Town Hall.   Please check the event calendar to verify the dates. 

 

Planning Board Role:

The Planning Board is responsible for the review of Conditional Use Permits (all commercial/ business/industrial operations within the Town per the Zoning Ordinance) and the review of all Subdivision Applications per Subdivision Regulations. The Planning Board also works to draft new ordinances and regulations at the direction of the Select Board.

Public Comment:

All communication, comments and questions shall be in writing (email preferred) in advance of a scheduled Planning Board meeting. All written comments become part of the public record and are provided to applicants. Planning Board members and Town Staff. If a project has a public hearing scheduled, this is the opportunity the public has to comment on an application during a Planning Board meeting.  Otherwise, no comments will be heard during a Planning Board meeting. Members from the public are always welcome to attend Planning Board meetings, but we will be strictly enforcing how the public speaks during meetings to allow the Boards ability to operate without disruption.
