Town of Dayton Seeking Animal Control Officer

The Town of Dayton is accepting applications for a part-time Animal Control Officer. Responsibilities include responding to animal-related complaints, enforcement of animal control laws and ordinances, apprehending stray animals, maintaining records, and providing public assistance. Compensation is $20/hour plus mileage reimbursement. Applicants must obtain State Animal Control Officer certification within six months of appointment. Submit a resume and letter of interest to: officemanager@dayton-me.gov

The Dayton Community Club is doing their annual pie fundraiser.

Orders may be placed through a Dayton School student or through visiting this link.  Orders are due by 10/18.
