2025 LOAD LIMIT ROAD POSTINGS ARE IN PLACE

Daylight Saving Time begins on March 9, 2025, when clocks will spring forward one hour at 2 a.m., marking the transition to longer daylight hours

Budget Meeting: Monday, March 10, 2025, at 6 pm with Select Board Meeting to follow.

Youth Full Maine Food Distribution: Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 2 pm until 3 pm. The van will be set up at Dayton Town Hall.

Parks and Recreation Meeting: Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 6:30 pm.

Planning Board Meeting: Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at 6:30 pm.

ELECTION INFORMATION: Nomination papers for the June 10, 2025 Municipal Election are now available from the Town Clerk’s office for the following positions:

One—Select Board Member, 3-year term

One—School Board Member, 3-year term

One—Road Commissioner, 3-year term

Dayton Town Hall is looking for 2 additional volunteers to be a part of the Budget Committee. Please click HERE for an application. Budget meetings occur in March, April, and May, or on an as-needed basis. If you have any questions, please contact the office at 207-499-7526.

Dayton Consolidated School: Pre-K and Kindergarten—Registration Now Open

If you have a child turning the age of four (4) for Pre-K or five (5) for Kindergarten before October 15, 2025, please pre-register them as soon as possible. You may register by calling the office at 207-499-2283. Spring screening information will be sent out as we get closer to our screening dates in May.

Spring is fast approaching and there are lots of house projects to be done in warmer weather! Did you know there are multiple law changes in the Code Enforcement Office? Please check in with Tracy for your new project ideas or if you would like to apply for a permit.
