Fire Commission

On December 20, 2010, the Towns’ people of Dayton and Lyman entered into an Interlocal agreement for the joint operation of the Fire/Rescue department. Each town appoints 3 residents to serve on the Lyman-Dayton Fire Commission. This commission is charged with the administration and oversight of the joint fire and emergency service department or Goodwins Mills Fire Rescue.
