SELECTMEN’S MEETING MINUTES

PRESENT: Ed LeBlanc, Keith Harris, Chris L’Heureux,

ABSENT: Jim Trask

OTHERS PRESENT: Jim Roberts, Ted Poirier, Mike Sukalas, Skip Cushman, Mike Souliere,

Selectman Ed LeBlanc declared the meeting open at 19:00

~ANNOUNCEMENTS: NONE

~APPOINTMENTS: NONE

OLD BUSINESS:

1. Skip Cushman stated that the School Board voted to just pay Girard Plumbing the balance of the $61,000 and let Girard Plumbing make the next move. Skip will keep us posted.

2. Ted Poirier stated that it will be a while before they get in here to take the cement wall down and fence, Ted wanted us to know due to the big hole in the parking lot that he was going to fix, Mike Souliere stated that he will take care of it in the next week.

3. Mike Souliere also stated that he has the signs for the school driveway on order and will get them up when they come in.

4. Mike Souliere states that the beaver dam on the Buzzell Road has been taken out; Ed stated that he has talked to a trapper and Ed will notify the Game Wardens and get permission to trap the beavers doing that work.

~NEW BUSINESS:

1. Mike Sukalas was in to talk to the Selectmen re: possible trail location for a new snowmobile trail to go around the posted property on Whispering Willow Dr.

2. Skip Cushman stated that negotiations have started with Thornton Academy and they have just started but Thornton wants to model our contract of Arundel’s contract. He will keep us posted on the negotiations as they progress, there will also be a School Board informational meeting December 7, 2004 at 6pm at the School for a public notification of the contract progress for the Towns People.

3. Jim Roberts has received a letter from a concerned residence re an illegal apartment on Rumery Road above a garage; Jim Roberts will be looking into this.(copy of letter attached), Jim will give us an update when he looks into this.

1. Concealed Weapons back ground check on a residence.

1. School Board informational meeting December 7, 2004 at 6pm at the School for a public notification of the contract progress for the Towns People.
