SELECTMEN’S MEETING MINUTES
November 15, 2004
PRESENT: Ed LeBlanc, Keith Harris, Jim Trask, Chris L’Heureux,
ABSENT: None
OTHERS PRESENT: Jim Roberts, Ted Poirier, Jon Guay, Skip Cushman,
Selectman Ed LeBlanc declared the meeting open at 19:00

OLD BUSINESS:
1. Discussion was held on the Girard Plumbing bill, the bill is $15,000 over his original estimate, Lengthy discussion was held on this and questions were raised how Mike Garrity could of let this happen. Ed spoke with Glenn Anderson about this and he recommends that we pay the original bill of $61,000 and let Mike Garrity work with Girard plumbing on the balance. A workshop meeting has been scheduled for Thursday 11-18-04 at the School time will be 6pm after the school union meeting.
2. Skip Cushman stated that Thursday night after the workshop they are going to start negotiations with Thorton Academy for our middle school kids.
3. Jim Trask has check with Schavi Leasing and they have a 28x 68 commercial office space that was used at the State House when they did some remodeling and is would cost $79,500 delivered and set up. Ed stated that he will be setting up a committee to look at all our options.
~NEW BUSINESS:
1. Pot hole by Pierson’s Nursery that needs attention and one on RT 35 near the Goodwin’s Mill Bridge That is a state road and State DOT will need to be notified, Mike Souliere was notified by phone on this and he stated he will take care of it.
