SELECTMEN’S MEETING MINUTES
March 5, 2007

Selectman Ted Poirier declared the meeting open at 19:00
EXECUTIVE SESSION:
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. Growth Ordinance Meeting, Tuesday, March 6 at 7 pm, Town Office
APPOINTMENTS:

OLD BUSINESS:
1. Ordinances update from Jim Roberts next week.
2. Fire Department budget in hopes to be received soon.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Selectmen discussed who should be plowing the transfer station. Paul Poirier, who currently holds the contract for the Town’s snowplowing was in to discuss. The current contract does not include the Transfer Station. Ed LeBlanc to contact BBI to see if they have plowed the Transfer Station in the past. The Selectmen also asked Paul to provide a cost for adding Steele Rd. to the snowplowing contract.
2. Selectmen received a complaint received from a resident on South St. regarding a street sign that fell and damaged one of his vehicles. Mike Souliere to follow up with resident.
3. Susan Bellerose, Tax Collector, provided an update to the Selectmen. Approximately $140,000 to collect for 2006 real estate taxes. There are 4 personal property accounts that have not been paid. Susan will be sending a reminder to these 4 individuals. Susan also provided an update on the letter sent to tax payers that currently have taxes in arrears. There have been some payments received for these outstanding accounts.
4. Town Elections will be held in the School Gym on June 7th from 8 am – 7 pm.
