SELECTMEN’S MEETING MINUTES
May 1, 2006
PRESENT: Ted Poirier, Jim Trask, Ed Leblanc, Angela Cushman

Selectman Ted Poirier declared the meeting open at 19:00
~ANNOUNCEMENTS: NONE
APPOINTMENTS: 1. None
OLD BUSINESS:
1. Attorney update provided by Ed LeBlanc. Suit has been filed with Schiavi. Attorney has started interviewing individuals involved with the suit. Maxine Pouravelis will be present at the May 22nd Public Hearing.
2. David Smith Dedication Plaque to hang in Town Office. To honor individuals who have served for the Town. Ed LeBlanc to purchase plaque and name/position plaques.
~NEW BUSINESS:
1. Road maintenance update. Hollis Rd work started today – Rt.5 thru Rt. 35 – should be completed by the end of the week.
2. Ballot printing will need to be postponed to the end of the month for the potential ordinance changes. Virginia Procter will let Atlantic Printing know about the printing that needs to be done. Final Ballot to go to printing on May 26th.
3. Selectmen will be requesting the Tax Assessor, Michelle Boisjoly, to be at the town meeting to explain the impact to taxes.
4. Richard Hall, Planning Board member, presented an updated schedule of fees for the Planning Board. Motion was made by Ed LeBlanc, 2nd by Ted Poirier to accept the new schedule of fees proposed by the Planning Board.
